North Shore Tobacco Control Program
The North Shore Tobacco Control Program (NSTCP) is part
of the eight-city North Shore Boards of Health Collaborative:
Lynn, Danvers,
Marblehead,
Nahant, Peabody, Salem, Saugus
and Swampscott,
Massachusetts.
NSTCP is funded through the Massachusetts
Tobacco Control Program (MTCP) where activities are supported
by the Health Protection Fund, established upon the passage of
the voter referendum Question 1 (Tobacco Excise Tax) in November
1992.
The Collaborative is part of the Massachusetts
Department of Public Health effort to reduce tobacco use
in the Commonwealth and to keep tobacco products out of the hands
of children.
NSTCP's mission is to provide services in tobacco control
